Volcanoes and Sirens
A wonderful tour around the Bay of Naples which is dominated by the still active volcano, Mount Vesuvius. The tour includes a visit to the ancient Roman city of Pompeii which was buried by the volcano in 49 AD.
The journey also takes in visits to the city of Naples, the town of Sorrento, the Isle of Capri and the beautiful Amalfi coast. On his travels the author visits an ethereal green grotto, samples a deceptively strong local drink, goes down the drains in Sorrento and witnesses a very amusing crisp hunt.
As with all of the Wizerd E-books, the story is illustrated with beautiful photographs taken by the author that vividly bring to life the journey as you follow in his footsteps. The photos are inserted at the appropriate point in the text rather than in seperate sections as with most conventional books.
